SIFE UNISWA Kwaluseni imparts business skills to 600 inmates

OVER 600 inmates received training in basic business management skills, courtesy of the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) and the Correctional Services department.
Correctional Commissioner Isaiah Mzuthini Ntshangase said it was important for the society to have access into correctional institutions in order to fully understand and appreciate the activities, initiatives and programmes particularly those meant for the rehabilitation of offenders.
The commissioner highlighted this during a visit to the Matsapha Correctional Institution by students from the University of Swaziland, Kwaluseni Campus through the Centre for Community Services under the Students Free Enterprise project (SIFE).
The 12 students led by Faculty Advisor Dumsile Nkambule shared ideas and business skills with the over 600 inmates at the medium wing of the correctional facility. The brainstorming business session was facilitated by SIFE.
